An Exceptional Serving Experience

Jefferson High School and Greeley Area Habitat for Humanity have a groundbreaking model for high school students to build homes for low income families.  We take the training learned in Geometry in Construction and Construction Trades 1 and further those to introduce all trades involved in residential construction.

Geometry In Construction

Using construction principles to make geometry applicable and fun

Enroll in this hands-on, innovative class and take part in a unique, challenging learning experience. Our qualified and skilled teachers serve as facilitators in the course, guiding students through exploring and individual learning. English Language Arts in Construction

Using construction documents students will gain a better understanding of the English Language

Students will learn the building process from planning to building.  They will gain an understanding of construction vocabulary, planning process, starting and operating a business, among other valuable construction related lessons.

Computer Aided Drafting

Fun and Challenging

Students will learn how to take 2D blueprints and make them into 3D computer models.  Specifically, students will learn the residential building process, and they will be introduced to materials, systems, and processes used in building residential homes.
